Jeremy Globe of Homestead Florida was charged by the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) for making false statements to the National Futures Association (NFA). Mr. Globe told clients at Globe FX Club Inc. that their funds would be pooled and he would manage their accounts. These statements were found to be false by the CFTC and it was determined that Mr. Globe made false or fraudulent statements to the NFA while the NFA was investigating Globe FX Club Inc. In the court’s final judgment, Mr. Globe and his company were ordered by the CFTC to pay a $350,000 civil monetary penalty for concealing material facts and making false statements or misrepresentations to the National Futures Association. Mr. Globe and Globe FX Club Inc. were also permanently prohibited from violating the Commodity Exchange Act.
